 The Little Flower Vidyanikethan Udayagiri, Monippally, Kottayam, established in 1998, imparts education to all sets of community irrespective of caste, religion, creed, colour and culture prescribed by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE) Board, New Delhi. This school is
owned by the Missionaries of Little Flower, (MLF) a catholic religious congregation under the management of Little Flower Education trust, Reg. No.100/4/2000.
About our patroness St.Theresa of Lisieux (Little Flower )
Theresa was born on 2nd January, 1873 as the youngest of the five daughters of Louis Martin and Zelie Guerin. Although they lost their mother when Theresa was only four years old, all the five sisters overcoming the temptations of a rich lifestyle, became nuns. Theresa felt an early call to religious life and overcoming various obstacles, in 1888 at the early age of 15, she joined in the
Cloistered Carmelite Community of Lisieux, Normandy. Theresa was conspicuous for her virtues. Her child-like simplicity, utter humility, constant self-sacrifice and a boundless love for God.Read More >>

You are welcome to the website of Little Flower Vidyanikethan, the only I C S E syllabus following educational institution in Uzhavoor Grama Panchayat. Little Flower Vidyanikethan is founded by the Missionaries of Little Flower Congregation, (MLF) changanasherry with a view to enable the common people to aquire quality education. The school promotes , sound moral
literary and scientific education to pupils. We provide a holistic education from Kinder Garten to year 10. The broad programme we offer is not merely to supply some amount of knowledge to the pupils, but to develop in them desirable habits, interests attitudes and skills which help them to lead a complete and worthy life. Our students become confident and creative individuals who find learning as an integral part of life beyond class rooms. St. Theresa of Lisieux is our Patroness who had a deep faith in the fatherhood of God and brotherhood of man and devoted herself to the cause of Divine Love.
